Home for the holidays
We love holiday traditions. One of our favorites is being nestled in at home. Now that my children are older, I tend to lean towards simplicity with my holiday home decor. Natural elements such as fresh undressed trees, magnolia garlands, and winter plants are a favorite. I love adding pops of color with throws and decorative pillows and I love adding pretty candles to antique ironstone jars from my personal collection on our tabletop spaces. I have shared a few images from last season below. You can find more of our home in the latest issue of Cottages and Bungalows on newsstands now.
Holiday Trees
We are super excited to introduce our 2023 holiday collection of winter trees. These are super versatile and serve as multipurpose decor. The flower planters and salvaged candle holders are the base that can be used after the holidays. We wanted to create something simple enough to keep through the entire winter season and long after. We will have many variations of these lovelies.
The Collected Holiday
We are getting very excited about the upcoming holiday season that is just around the corner!! This year has certainly flown by!! We have been collecting many beautiful vintage and antique pieces for months and we can not wait to share our curated holiday collections with you. Our first holiday drop will be the first week in November. Date to be announced. We are focused on simplicity that makes a statement this year. Here is a little peek of what is coming soon!
Thanksgiving Table
Mid fall is upon us and we canāt help but think about the fact that the holidays are quickly approaching. I wanted to create a simple way to add a little elegance to the holiday table this year. I just stocked a collection of beautiful antique ironstone gravy boats to our online shop. We took some simple white chunky candles and added some to the inside of every other boat, giving a slight elevated appearance, layered with antique lace which gives a yummy texture. We also brought back some fun vintage Turkey shakers to our shop this season as well, which are highly collectible and add a little pop of color.
What I have found, and what Iām looking for
I wanted to share some photos of items that were previously found and curated for my online small shop. Unique antique ironstone pieces are a favorite to find along with architectural salvage and vintage & antique original artwork. I love finding one of a kind pieces that have a history and tell a story.
Handmade each season
In each season throughout the year I take the time to be creative as it is a way for me to be creative which makes me feel happy. I especially love the season of FALL and look forward to foraging and creating natural textural items for my shop. I have had many varieties of seasonal dried wreaths the past few years.
Seasonal Boxes
I am super excited to introduce seasonal boxes from The Collected curated by myself that will be available in each four seasons of the year: Winter/Holiday, Spring, Summer, and Fall. There will be two size options (regular and large size) available to choose from. Each box will offer a mix of something old & new together. Each curated box will be filled with a wonderful scent for the home, a handmade garden item and vintage goods.
